OWI Labs Inc. ("OWI Labs", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit owilabs.com or our self-serve store at wizard.owilabs.com (collectively, the "Site").

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Usage data, pages visited, time spent, referring URL, browser type, and device information collected through our analytics tool
• IP address, used to derive an approximate location (country, region, and city) and a daily rotating identifier, and not stored
• Contact information, name, email address, company, and role when you voluntarily submit a contact form or email us
• Order information, contact details, and transaction data related to store purchases, with payment handled directly by Stripe (card details never reach us)
• Cookies, we use only essential cookies for site functionality; our analytics tool operates without cookies

Your browser reads its timezone and, when that gives no geographic location, its language settings to choose an initial pricing currency. These signals are processed on your device and are not sent to OWI Labs for this detection.

A currency you choose is remembered in local storage on your browser. A currency specified in a link takes precedence for that page view without changing the saved preference. You can change the currency using the switch or clear the saved preference in your browser settings.

When you start a purchase from the pricing page, the displayed currency and seat count are included in the store URL and in the click event sent to our analytics tool.

We measure Site traffic using Plausible Analytics (self-hosted), cookieless audience measurement running on our own infrastructure. Plausible shares no data with third parties, it stores no directly identifying information such as your name or email address, and what we report on is aggregated. The store events it records (such as starting a checkout or confirming a purchase) contain no personal identifiers.

To understand where our audience is located, we derive an approximate location from your IP address, at the level of country, region, and city. The IP address is used only for that lookup and to generate an identifier that rotates daily. The IP address itself is never stored. The lookup runs against a database held on our own infrastructure in Quebec, so your IP address is never sent to a geolocation provider.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Site
• Respond to your inquiries and provide requested information
• Process and fulfill store orders and payments
• Analyze site usage to improve user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting providers and, for store purchases, our payment processor Stripe) who assist us in operating the Site, subject to confidentiality obligations. Some of these providers, including Stripe, may process data outside Quebec, including in the United States.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

For analytics specifically, we keep a record of each visit: the page, the referring URL, and the derived country, region, and city, together with the identifier described above. That identifier rotates every day, so visits cannot be linked from one day to the next. Your IP address is not part of the record.
